ANNE-MARIE MCDERMOTT, piano
It is with great pleasure that we welcome back Anne-Marie McDermott who together with violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg performed the inaugural concert in the series in 2003. The program will include a grouping of Haydn Sonatas (which Anne-Marie is recording weeks before the recital), the World Premiere of a piano sonata by Charles Wuorinen and the US Premiere of Clarice Assad's "When Art Showed Up."

HILARY HAHN, violin
Hilary Hahn will present her only New York recital of the season with Free for All. With pianist Valentina Lisitsa, the program will include Violin sonatas by Ysaÿe and Ives, Brahms' Hungarian Dances, and Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances.

EMERSON STRING QUARTET
Another in a series of firsts for this season, Free for All at Town Hall will present its first string quartet on the series, with the Emerson String Quartet in an all Schubert program.
